This busy family wanted a living space plush enough to sink into, but durable enough to handle the realities of life with active teens and dogs. We added a cased opening to make the open floor plan feel cozier, then layered in tailored furnishings, performance fabrics, window treatments, and functional lighting. In the kitchen, marble and a tile backsplash bring classic polish while keeping everyday cleanup simple.
