Double Oak, TX
Location: Double Oak, TX | A ranch-style home on the lake
Client: A pair of professionals with several rescue dogs
Goal: Create a cozy retreat with custom storage for movies, gaming equipment, and treasured display pieces
Scope: A sunroom renovation
Style & Era: Casual traditional with soft, muted blues and greens, layered textures, and a subtle coastal influence
Our clients wanted a room that felt like a retreat without sacrificing function. The wife asked for a cozy place to unwind with a movie, while her husband needed serious storage for all his tech. We designed a wall of custom cabinetry to house components, conceal cables, allow for ventilation, and display decorative pieces.
Durable materials stand up to life with dogs, while stained and painted wood, caned cabinet inserts, brass hardware, and layered crown molding bring warmth and texture. Soothing lake-inspired hues tie it all together.
